Topic: The ASP.NET 2.0 Provider Model
Summary: Asp.net 2 implements several capabilities such as Authentication,
Authorization, Personalization and other aspects using what is commonly known as
the provider model. This presentation will explain this architectural model in detail,
demonstrating how it can be applied as a way or paradigm to design business tiers
in asp applications that may involve large teams with complicated build/release
cycles.
There is often a lot of confusion as to how this all works together and the goal
of the talk will be to demystify and simplify this architectural foundation stone
in asp.net applications. Given that this model is used is asp.net 2 derivatives
such as Sharepoint, it should benefit any asp.net developer wanting to get into
the nut and bolts of asp.net

Topic: Continuous Integration with Cruise Control
Summary: Continuous Integration is an easy win for any team. It
is reasonably simple to implement and unlike many contemporary buzzwords these concepts
will stay with you for years to come. This an interactive demonstration/discussion
using Thoughtwork's Cruise Control, Microsoft's MSBuild, NAnt, NUnit, and NCover
- all free tools.
After this hour long presentation you will able to install Cruise Control, and with
a little homework you'll have it integrated with Source Control. Expect to be showered
with admiration from peers and managers alike, we cannot be responsible for unplanned
promotions.
As usual audience input is strongly encouraged - CCnet experts please come along
to help the discussion.
